Staying Home with Daddy

This week Daddy has off from work so I get to stay home with him. We are having a lot of fun together and I get to take naps with Daddy too. Here are some pictures of my hair dos that Daddy gave me.

Christmas Eve - 2008

Christmas was great this year. We had a yummy dinner with my favorite - Green Beans! Then I got to open presents with everyone.

Great Grandma helped me make cookies for Santa. We got to give PopPop lots of hugs.

I was so happy because Hailey spent Christmas with me.

Baking Cookies for Santa!

On Christmas Eve I got to bake cookies with Mommy & Daddy! These special cookies we were going to leave for Santa. This was my first time baking so I was very excited.


They smelled so good that I couldn't help but try one!

Christmas Dinner with Uncle Nate & Uncle Jay

We celebrated Christmas with Uncle Nate and Uncle Jay at my house. I was so excited that they were coming over for dinner! Daddy cooked an awesome dinner and we had a Santa ice cream
cake for dessert.

I got to open had out presents and open them too! Here is a picture of me bringing Uncle Jay his present.

This was one of my favorite gifts from Uncle Nate and Jay....they told me it was for my toys but I thought it made a great hiding place!

By the end of the night I was pooped. Here is a picture of me sleeping with my new Baby Doll.

Finishing up the Holiday Trimmings

Over the weekend we finished decorating the house for Christmas. We finally got around to hanging up the beautiful garland. Lexi loves the way it looks, she hopes you do to!

I LOVE Beans!

If you haven't heard, I LOVE BEANS! They are my favorite food to eat. I can eat almost a whole can for one meal. Check out me devouring the delicious beans!

I can count to THREE!

I am getting really good at counting now. My favorite thing to do is to count to three! I get really excited and scream THREEEEEEEEE and throw my finger in the air! Mommy and Daddy think it is super cute so they took some pictures of me.

1st Snow of the Winter

Today it snowed for the first time this winter and Daddy took me outside to see how I would like it as I don't remember last winter. He bundled me up nice and warm in my snowsuit and boots and we ventured outdoors to see what all the hoot was about! Well it was so cool! It felt really funny on my face and I stuck out my tongue to catch some snowflakes. Daddy tried to cover me in snow, but I didn't appreciate that so much.

Decorating the Christmas Tree

On Thanksgiving day we decorated the Christmas tree. This was Lexi's first year she was able to enjoy setting it up. She was so excited hanging the ornaments on the tree. She knew exactly what to do without us even showing her how to!

Lexi had a blast hanging the beads on herself and Missy our cat. Although, I don't think Missy enjoyed it as much!

Lexi's 2nd Birthday

On Sunday November 11 we celebrated my 2nd Birthday! I was so excited about my party. I couldn't wait to put on my party dress. My guests included: Mommy, Daddy, MaMa, PopPop, Great MaMa, Aunt Cyndi, Hailey, Uncle Nate and Uncle Jay.

I had two cakes! One was my personal cake with the number 2. Daddy made me dig my hands into, but I didn't really want to get dirty. The other cake I had was a Barney cake which so cool looking. It was also PopPop's Birthday so we had a special cake just for him too.

Haily and I had a great time together. She helped me open my gifts! We especially had a lot of fun riding on the horses.

My Barney cake was so good that later on I wanted seconds. This time I helped myself and stuck my fingers in the cake so I could steal a few licks! Thank you everyone for coming to my party!

Dinner at Uncle Nate & Jay's

Uncle Nate & Jay invited us over for a nice home cooked meal. Uncle Jay must have slaved over the stove all day because the house smelled so good and there was so much food to eat. While dinner was cooking, they turned on my favorite music (Salsa) and I got my groove on! I showed everyone how I can shake my hips :)

Dinner was really good! They had my favorite - Green Beans! I think I ate almost an entire can! We all had a great time!

My First Trip to the Orchards

I had my first trip to an Orchard during the weekend of October 13th and 14th. On Saturday Daddy and Mommy took me to the Orchards to pick out my very first pumpkin! I got to go on a hayride to the pumpkin patch. I was so excited when I saw the field of pumpkins. It felt like I spent hours searching for the perfect pumpkin. For me the perfect pumpkin had to be really big (too big for me to pick up), had to be hugable, kissable and make a perfect place to sit. I must have hugged and kissed 100 pumpkins! Finally, I found it and we brought it back to the tractor so we could go and buy my pumpkin.

Mommy, Daddy and I had so much fun that we decided to go back on Sunday to pick apples! This time MomMom and PopPop came with us. I couldn't wait to show them the hayride and all the pumpkins, so we all hopped on the tractor for another ride to the pumpkin patch. I showed them how I hugged and kissed all the pumpkins. We then took our bag to fill with apples. I got to taste so many different apples, and they were all so yummy! We must have walked all day long because MomMom had to find Great Grandma Macoon apples! Boy you would have never known she had a bad leg! By the end of the day I was so tired that I had to lay down in the orchards and take quick cat nap. When we got home we counted all the apples we picked. Can you believe that we came home with 60 apples??!! WOW!
